BLOWY ANCHORAGE
Time to move on from Annapolis and with a blow on the way we decided that Shaw Bay looked a safe anchorage. Although it didnt blow as much as was forecast it definitely called for a safe haven. As you can see from Ians lunchtime picture it rained cats and dogs.

FILMING
Wednesday was the day to go filming which turned out to be rather fun as we worked with T2PTV. Ashley was on board with Bruce driving the support boat and drone. The shoot was for Garcia who are putting together some video for their website and I have to say we are both delighted and honored to be supporting this amazing boat.

ANNAPOLIS
Annapolis served us well for it is a nice place and has all the support that a cruiser might need. We topped up with food, fuel and water. The local chandlers were raided for all sorts of bits n bobs to cover the next six months of wear and tear. Indeed, we started to feel like permanent residents of the Galway bar for there is a launderette and a barber just across the road - where else might you go when waiting! Another highlight was catching up with our good friends Nadine and Kelly who we met in Staniel Cay many moons ago. As you can see from the picture taken on the way back to the boat one evening it's a picturesque and historic town.

SUNDAY
We have a Sunday off. Feels a rare thing and we have made the most of it with a Sunday brunch of bacon, pancakes, coffee and maple syrup all the way from Maine. So good to have a day to ourselves chilling out - the rain has added to the Sunday feel as we listen to BBC Two on player.

Crisp Morning
Its done it again, I left Annapolis in my shorts returning a week later to find that I cant feel my finger tips after putting up the dodger. Its remarkable how the weather changes here.
Stunning autumnal morning and I am looking forward to going for a paddle board to celebrate the end of a mad mad four weeks without break. Its been an absolute blast.
Looking at my diary we have, apart from a day of filming next week, four commitment free months. We are so looking forward to being able to drift from experience to experience without the clock ticking.
Quite the change after a year of deadlines........Wooo

IRELAND
This is where I was speaking in Ireland - stunning place. The lady of the house had nineteen children, six of whom were to the French teacher!

SANDED
Pearl looks just amazing as she shines like sterling silver and will do so until the aluminum oxidizes
