Dagger Boards

One of the features of Oddity is a draft of under 3ft and so we needed lifting lateral resistance. Given that she is only 32ft there wasn't room to accomodate the engine and a centreboard under the floor boards. As such we went for daggerboards which have the added advantage of acting as legs if we dry out on uneven ground. They draw 6ft when deployed and this drawing shows how the case picks up on the structure as it plunges through the hull.
